11 Can a woman forget her nursing
child and have no compassion on the son of her
womb? Even these may forget, but I will not
forget you. Is. 4915 But we proved to be
gentle among you, as a nursing mother tenderly
cares for her own children. 1 Thessalonians
27 When Jesus then saw His mother, and the
disciple whom He loved standing nearby, He said
to His mother, "Woman, behold, your son!" Then
He said to the disciple, "Behold, your mother!"
From that hour the disciple took her into his own
household. John 1926,27
12- Pass along your FAITH.
- For I am mindful of the sincere faith within
you, which first dwelt in your grandmother Lois
and your mother Eunice, and I am sure that it is
in you as well. - 2 Timothy 15
13 2. The example of King Lemuels
MOTHER Proverbs 311-4 The words of King
Lemuel, the oracle which his mother taught him
What, O my son? And what, O son of my womb? And
what, O son of my vows? Do not give your strength
to women, Or your ways to that which destroys
kings. It is not for kings, O Lemuel, It is not
for kings to drink wine, Or for rulers to desire
strong drink. vs. 28-31Her children rise up
and bless her Her husband also, and he praises
her, saying "Many daughters have done nobly, but
you excel them all." Charm is deceitful and
beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD,
she shall be praised. Give her the product of her
hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.
143. What it means to FEAR THE LORD. The fear of
the LORD is the beginning of knowledge Fools
despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 17
15- Fearing God means
- Having a deeply committed love and REVERENCE
for God. - B. Hungering for all that God IS.
- C. Hungering for all that God HAS for us.
- D. Acknowledging what life would be like WITHOUT
Him. - E. Being grateful that because of His love, we
never have to experience that DISTRESS.
16A Mothers Prayer Lord, I pray for my child, to
have an ever-increasing hunger for more of You.
May he/she long for Your presence long to spend
time with You in prayer, praise and worship. Give
him/her a love for the truth of Your Word and a
desire to obey all of Your ways. Amen.
