BCMS SKI CLUB 2008-2009

• If you have come to have fun and learn to
  ski/snowboard or if you already know how

Then you have come to the right meeting!!!

• We will take 5 trips to Ski Liberty and
• 1 trip to Whitetail.
• We will leave the school at 400 and arrive at
  the slopes by 445.
• (Hopefully beating the other schools!)
• We will depart the ski area at 1000 PM each
  night.
• (You are required to be on the bus by 950.)
• Your parent/guardian must pick you up
• before 1100 PM!

Lets talk about safety!!!

• Regardless of ski experience, there are rules!
• You must take a lesson if you are a new skier,
  snowboarder or ski boarder.
• You must ski with a buddy the entire night.
• You must report all injuries to the first aid
  station or the lodge chaperone. A chaperones
  will be notified by pager if the first aid
  station or ski patrol is involved. We will
  ensure you are taken care of properly.
• You must follow all school and slope rules!
  
• You must check in with chaperone at designated
  times.

• If you lose privileges on the mountain or in
  school, you will lose the right to continue ski
  club trips. (No refunds will be
  given!)
• You must ride the bus, unless alternative
  arrangements have been made with Mrs. Driggers.
  Parents/guardian may not take you home from the
  trip without notification.
• You must furnish your own money for dinner and
  any extras. (Do not ask the chaperones, we
  are not ATMs.)
• You have the right to have fun. If anyone is
  making it difficult for you, see a chaperonewe
  will take care of any problems.

• Lift and Advantage Card 189.00
• Lift/Lesson 214.00 (lesson each trip)
• Lift/Lesson Advantage Card 234.00
• Lift/Lesson Rental 249.00
• Lift/Lesson, Rental Advantage Card 269.00
• RENTAL EQUIP. DOES NOT INCLUDE SKI BLADES.THEY
  WILL BE EXTRA!!!!
• Advantage Card give you a 40 discount on a
  rental of ski blades.

• The Advantage Card lets you save 40 every time
  you visit Liberty, Roundtop or Whitetail Resorts
  during regular hours. Plus, every sixth visit is
  free! It also includes
• 40 discount off any regularly priced ticket
  for day or non-Night Club hours.
• 40 discount on recreational lessons
• 40 off rentals

Lost Cards

• If you loose or forget your card
• first time they give you a ticket to use
  for the night
• second time it is considered lost and they
  will charge a fee of 25.00.
• (Put your card on a lanyard is a great way to
  not loose it.)

Helmets!

• BCMS and Chaperones highly recommend all
  students to purchase a helmet for 45.00.
• It is worth the money to save your heads!

Remember
...

• You can use your night club card
• Starting Jan. 1st 2009 to the end of the ski
  season!
• Monday thru Saturday from 400 PM until 1000 PM
• Sunday from 300PM until 1000PM
• With or without ski club
• At Liberty, Roundtop or Whitetail Resorts!!!
• (Pick up your cards before you leave for winter
  break!!!)

Procedure of a trip! (Departure from school to
the slopes)

• Students will leave the school at 400.
• We arrive at the slopes around 430 and get our
  lift tickets.
• Those that are renting get their items at the
  rental places.
• Students can leave their bags with Mrs. Driggers
  in the lodge.
• Students buddy up and go skiing or go to a lesson.

Procedure of a trip! (Check-in to departure back
to school)

• All skiers have to check in with the adult in the
  lodge. The time is between 700 to 730.
• Students return rentals around 935
• All students are to be on the bus by 950.
• If you are late you get a warning and the next
  time you are not allowed to ride the bus the rest
  of the season.

• All ski club members must turn in the following
  paperwork and money
• Night Club Order Form and Money
• Permission slip form (blue tag paper)
• Bus money 25.00
• Picture for your night club card

Due date for papers and money is October 31st.
No exceptions!
