Benefits of Building Great Wall

• Protection- wall prevented nomadic horsemen from
  invading farms
• More farmers would stay on farms
• There were fewer threats on Shihuangdi, ordering
  soldiers to work on different parts of the wall.
  As a result soldiers could not band together.

• Construction so difficult and living conditions
