• Currently 40 teaching programs of undergraduate
  studies postgraduate studies at the level of
  the University and three faculties
• Most faculties have reformed their curricula
  through Tempus projects
• What is underway currently is a Project of
  introduction of ECTS, with the following planned
  activities (italics for those already

• REFORM OF THE UNIVERSITY GOVERNANCE, MANAGEMENT
  AND FINANCES
• The University organization and management is in
  accordance with the existing Law on HE, so it is
  outdated and represents a great obstacle to
  reforms.
• Faculties are still legal bodies, independent
  financially and in terms of organization.

• An integrated University is our intention. It
  will rationalize and facilitate the Universitys
  managing process, enable integral quality
  control, improve student mobility at the
  University.
• A new law on HE will contribute a lot to the
  changes at the University, and enable planned
  activities to be implemented faster, in order to
  adjust to European HE area.

• In the last two years, number of employees went
  up by 50, in line with long-term aims of
  strategic development. Non-Governmental funds
  increased too.

• Building of optical infrastructure as a basis for
  the University information system
• Establishing an integrated student records office
  for the whole University that is to start
  functioning in the next ac. y.
