• The IBM strategy is to support the Enterprise
  Editions of the Linux distributions powered by
  UnitedLinux and RedHat Enterprise Editions, and
  to ensure that we support these distributions
  within a short time of their availability.
• We do not individually certify all Linux
  distributions. Instead, we certify our products
  based on Linux Kernel version and glibc version.
  Any customer with a valid IBM maintenance
  contract running Informix products on Linux (at
  the kernel level specified or higher) should turn
  to IBM for support if they have an issue that
  prevents the smooth operation of their Informix
