Reading
  • Reading is the process of making meaning of text.
    Students must be able to demonstrate their
    comprehension, their ability to analyze, and
    their critical thinking related to written text.

  • Guidelines for assembling a sufficient COE
  • The collection must include
  • At least 8 and no more than 12 work samples that
  • Include at least four work samples each of which
    can be scored for more than one literary strand.
  • Include at least four work samples each of which
    can be scored for more than one informational
    strand.

    assigned text.
  • Must include work samples that include text-based
    evidence.
  • Must include an copy of the teachers assignment
