1LIGASE is pleased to invite Science Teachers to
attend a special workshop to learn about the
proposed
Deep Underground Science Engineering Laboratory Â
Henderson Mine (Colorado) has been proposed by a
collaboration of industry, universities, state
officials, and community leaders as the site for
the National Science Foundations planned Deep
Underground Science and Engineering Laboratory.
Stony Brook University leads this effort. DUSEL
will be an international multi-disciplinary lab
exploring proton decay, neutrino physics, deep
underground geological structures, and deep
subsurface microbiology.

Certificate for three hours of in-service credit
will be provided.
