Oscillation of starch content in the low starch
mutant sta1-1. The accumulation of starch during
a 12h light/12h dark cycle was followed in the
wild-type strain(?), sta2-2 (?) and sta1-1 (?)
mutants strains in the presence of acetate. All
strains in this study are isogenic strains. The
mutation sta1-1 affects the large subunit of the
ADP-pyrophosphorylase decreasing the responsive
to the allosteric activator 3-phosphoglycerate.
