SmokeShield PTC 601
  • Is a square damper with circular end caps
  • Simplistically, the CSS is the alternative to the
    601 damper.
  • More cost effective.
  • Easier to install.
  • ONLY Available with factory-fitted actuator.

  • Single pivoting blade with low leakage seal.
  • Simple drive linkage (similar to the PTC
    interface internals).
  • Diameters to suit std duct sizes from 100 to
    355mm diameter
  • Suitable for both standard and insulated ductwork
  • Complete with Installation flanges.
  • Stocked item. (just need to fit appropriate
    actuator)

Performance

  • Cut sq hole in wall 10mm bigger than diameter.
  • Remove flanges from damper
  • Position damper in wall. Note wall CL damper
    blade posn (positioning label).
  • Fill voids with rockwool
  • Fix flanges either side of wall. Tighten to
    damper with clamp screw.
  • Screw flanges to wall (pre-punched holes)
