Status

• Currently published as draft-ietf-bgp4-mibv2-06
• Incorporates all prior structural and content
  comments.
• MIB now only covers base protocol. Incidentally
  covers confederation AS paths.
• Extensions such as communities removed. Can be
  added via extension MIB.
• Sample BGP communities MIB published as
  draft-jhaas-idr-bgp4-mibv2-community-00.
• Adopt as WG item?
• BGP Capabilities removed.
• 4 byte AS paths are natively supported.
  Extension MIB required to see AS4_PATH.

• AS Path Table remains.
• Some people want it, some dont.
• Added a string representation of an AS Path to
  the bgpAfPathAttrTable.
• It may now be optionally implemented.

• Now that design churn is done, v2MIB merged into
  current RFC 4273 MIB.
• Go forth and implement!
