Design your own Chair
  • Think of what type of chair you would like to
    make-remember it is going to be a model so dont
    make it too fiddly
  • Think about what the chair is for purpose and
    character - where the chair will be used, by who
    and how.
  • What equipment and materials you are going to
    use?
  • Draw a diagram with labels and notes
    (annotations) explaining your design. Remember to
    explain why you have included certain things or
    used different materials.

  • If you can add some measurements to your diagram
    - think of the scale of things.
  • If you have time why not think of a design of a
    model where you can display your chair.
