What do we have (in 6.1.2) vs. the latest/best

• ISAJET 7.51 built by Art Kreymer in 2000.
• The latest version is 7.72. It has a lot of new
  features, esp. in the SUSY sector.
• StdHep 5.0.1 (4.09 in CDF5.3.3) built by Lynn
  Garren in 2002.
• The latest version is 5.0.4.
• It matters because it affects the translation of
  generator output to HEPEVT format and the masses
  updated by PDG.

What it takes to update ISAJET

• A FNAL ISAJET release based on the latest
  version. I can make a personal version but people
  want an official version.
• An official adoption of StdHep 5.0.4. I and
  PYTHIA/HERWIG maintainers need to compare its
  common blocks with those of ISAJET/PYTHIA/HERWIG.
• Tauola interface (not the source itself) needs to
  be updated to be compatible with the newer
  StdHep.
• A few changes to the CDF environment variables.
