How do you avoid stepping on landmines?
  • Communication Efforts open forums, newspaper
    articles, meetings
  • Find out how you can get the most bang for your
    buck where you get the most support start
    there
  • Advertisements, news media
  • Get people talking

Can we have that too?
  • Is there a projected date for which TS will
    begin keeping waitlists for faculty and staff in
    a similar way in which they are being kept for
    students? We do keep wait lists regarding
    employee preferences based on their seniority in
    the department. Employees currently waiting to
    get into PA 55 have been employed here for up to
    18 months. We now keep a PA39 wait list. However,
    it is strictly hit and miss as to how these
    people are able to be reassigned to these
    lots. We do not want to "spam" your department by
    continually sending these requests over.....yet
    that is the bottom line of the process that is
    now in place.

  • Take your victories and accept your failures
  • Dont give up if you get hit
  • Develop Allies/Relationships
