Where can be problems?

• IDL License
• close IDL sessions, only a limited number allowed
  (has not happened last year)
• e-accounts
• see Renes talk about LDAP server
• Fileserver
• see Renes and Heiners talk about BL Fileserver
• Quota in the e-account home directory on the
  fileserver exceeded (500 MB)

More Problems

• firewire cameras
• At the moment there is only one camera for the
  microscope
• In case of problem reboot (server will start
  automatically)
• ABR (no problems any more since last summer)
• Tell the Local Contact to either
• close and restart the SoftIOC
• reboot the Windows PC (IOC will start after
  slsuser login)
• There is a replacement PC in MX-lab (Marcel wrote
  an Howto search Twiki for Aerotech Controller)
• Ketek, CATS, MarCCD
• ... local Contact should know, Pikett can not
  know every detector at every beamline

Where to find files in CVS

• X/X06DA/ Beamline stuff
• X/PX/AEROTECH ABR (all three MX beamlines)

• If it seems that an installation is corrupt, you
  may delete the installation directory and
  re-install from CVS.
• All VMEs and SoftIOCs boot from /work.

How to login to the beamlines

• Login to the network gateway (using your afs
  account)
• ssh afs_user_at_x06da-gw
• Login to a console (using an e-account)
• ssh e11207_at_x06da-cons-1
• Start the user launcher
• X_X06DA_start-launcher.sh
• Test e-account (password is the normal root
  password) e11207
