- The American Cancer Society is the nationwide,
community-based, voluntary health organization
dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health
problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and
diminishing suffering from cancer, through
research, education, advocacy, and service.

the ACS Patient Navigation Service can improve
their quality of life and mortality outcomes
through - Provision of free resources to help cancer
patients with full - spectrum of non-clinical needs
- Information to help patients understand their
- disease and make informed treatment decisions
- with health care professional
- Help to address cancer patients day-to-day
concerns
