In the News CWLP Dallman 4 Earns Powers Highest
Honor

• The new coal power plant built by the city of
  Springfield Illinoiss municipal utility, CWLP,
  was awarded POWER magazines 2009 Plant of the
  Year award.
• A key component was negotiating an agreement with
  the Sierra Club to moveforward with the plant.
  Cost is about 500 million for a 200 MW plant.
• Ground breaking took place on 11/06, and
  commercial operation should occur on 9/4/09
