Extra Alice in Wonderland

Dear Families We only have 2 weeks until
Thanksgiving break! We will super busy up until
that time. This week we are studying puppet
making and Alice in Wonderland. We will complete
our study with a mini field trip to see Alice.
Every Van Buren 1st grader will be there, so
there will be no room for parents. Sorry! Mrs.
Beckner is conducting her annual food drive, so
when its our PE day (Tuesday), please send
canned or boxed food items so that we may give to
the people in our community to help with their
holiday meals. Parkview is hosting a health
fair on Nov. 14th and the Blood drive sign up
forms are due Wednesday, Nov. 11th if you intend
to donate blood. Students who get someone to
donate receive a prize! This Thursday begins
Wear your Parkview Stars Shirt every

5 Little Leaves 5 little leaves in the tree next
door One fell off and then there were four. Four
little leaves all over the tree, A bird pulled
off one and now there are three. Three little
leaves up where the wind blew, One fell off and
then there were two. Two little leaves sitting in
the sun, A bug ate a leaf and now there is
one. One little leaf in the tree alone, The wind
blew and blew and now there are none!
