Once upon a time when the prince Krak ruled
the city of Krakow there had been continuously
disappearing young girls and no one knew what had
happen to them.

• As it happened once, that at the foot of Wawel
  Hill in a huge cave lived a dragon . His targets
  were not only cows, sheep and other animals but
  also young girls.
•

One day prince Krak announced " The one who
will kill the dragon, will get half of my
kingdom and my doughter as a wife". Many brave
knights went fighting with the dragon.
Unfortunately nobody was able to kill him.

At last young Szewczyk had a great idea to stuff
sheep's skin with sulfur and to leave it near the
dragon's cave. When the hungry monster saw the
sheep, he ate the sheep.

Suddenly he felt burning in his stomach. It
was growing stronger. Thirsty ran to the the
edge of the Vistula river and began to drink
water. He kept drinking but could not quench
thirst.

He kept drinking until his stomach broke. The
town was freed from the terrible dragon. Szewczyk
received an award from the king - his daughter's
hand.
