What is Technology Integration?

• The integrated lab for technology applications is
  intended to integrate technology into each core
  curriculum area for 6, 7 and 8.

Scheduling

• Teachers are required to complete one
  project-based lesson per semester
• Teachers must complete a lab request form
• Teachers are able to sign up online

Management

• Give teachers expectations and guidelines for the
  lab
• Plan with your teachers
• Email or conference
• Be sure to include technology and subject TEKS
• Classroom Teachers responsibility
• Answer questions concerning subject matter

• Integrated Technologist responsibilities
• Provide hotlists, instructions, and sample
  projects
• Teach the technology component for project
• Answer questions and trouble shoot during the
  project

Network Organization

• Intranet
• Allows students to create digital portfolios
• Allows teachers to easily access student work
• Allows teachers to place read only templates for
  students

Keeping Students Organized

• Provide detailed instructions with screenshots to
  help minimize confusion
• Set goals each day for what students should

  lab or tutoring
