Compressor Decks

• Compressor decks have a high risk of fire
  because of a combination of heat, pressure and
  vibration, which can cause product leakage and
  ignition. The compressor seals and bearings are
  the most likely areas for fire and therefore must
  be protected with the use of a minimum of two (2)
  optical flame detectors per compressor.
• Model FL3100H UV/IR flame detectors are the best
  choice for this application. They should be
  positioned so that the viewing window is not
  obstructed from any part of the target area to
  be protected.
