Mission Statement
  • The American Subcontractors Association amplifies
    the voice of and leads trade contractors and
    suppliers in order to improve the business

National Representation- 400 of the annual dues.
Recent accomplishments at the national
level 2007 Endorses ConsensusDOCS, a
collaboration of construction industry
organizations representing diverse interests. ASA
promotes best practices in the construction
industry. 2007 Joins forces with other
construction and business associations in
pursuing comprehensive immigration reform. 2006
Announced participation in an industry-wide
collaborative effort to develop nonpartisan
construction documents 2006 Continued to
participate in negotiations with ASA, expressing
concern about the reactionary nature of AIAs
early drafts. 2006 Used the Subcontractors
Legal Defense Fund to intervene in seven cases as
diverse as pay-if-paid, risk allocation, and
warranty.
