Title: Praying In the Spirit Lesson 2: The Purpose for Spiritual Language

1
Praying In the SpiritLesson 2 The Purpose for
Spiritual Language
  • No matter what the circumstances may be in our
life (or situation), we can reach out to the
Father in Prayer or Praise, in desperation or
weakness, silently or aloud all through the
vehicle of our prayer language. Spiritual
language is our Fathers tongue, a language just
    between you and Him.

2
Several ways spiritual language can be a resource
to us
  • John 14 16,17 Romans 826 1 Cor. 144, 15
  • James 117 Every good gift and every perfect
  • gift is from above, and comes down from the
  • Father of lights with whom there is no
  • variation or shadow of turning.

  • Enabled Warfare (Acts 1616-26 1919)
  • Edification of the believer (Acts 432 931)
  • Communication with the Father (Acts 424-31)
  • The disciples waited, but they really had no idea
    of
  • what they were waiting for. They just knew Jesus
    had
  • promised them His Holy Spirit power.

5
Expanded Worship
  • Worship is at the very core of life in the

  • others. Romans 1419 1 Cor. 144-5, 12, 26
