Current KEN Implementation Status

• 74 districts that have KEN Circuits installed
• 92 to be completed by June 30
• All districts to be completed by December 30

MPLS Cutover for KEN districts only

• All KEN Districts to be switched to distributed
  Internet vs shared Internet access
• You will see a marked improvement in Internet
  access once this happens.

Supporting Legacy Equipment

• Some districts will need to maintain the older
  Nortel Router to support Telco circuits
  connecting their schools or other buildings
• KDE will maintain current support for these
  systems until March 08.
