• Nov 2004 held a joint Network meeting

  the DAHNO project team

• Agreed a system for alerting the treatment
  centres of patients being referred for treatment
  from secondary care
• Identified a Key DAHNO Contact at each trust

• Agreed to make the local user group meetings more
  regular
• Next meeting to be held in Jan 2006
• Expected attendance from at least one clinician
• Opportunity for users to communicate, problem
  solve, look at examples of good practice

Global Permissions

• Granted in Aug 2005
• Treatment centres can pick up records entered by
  secondary care trusts and add information
• Reduces duplication

Key DAHNO Contacts

• One named person for each trust
• Contact details (telephone number e-mail
  address) distributed to trusts
• First port of call for dissemination of DAHNO
  information and referral into the trust for
  treatment etc.

Regular Updates at Network Meetings

• Regular updates are made at the Cancer Networks
  information Group (CNIG) meeting and the Clinical
  Network Group meeting
• Report information provided by the DAHNO project
  team
• Numbers of records added
• Number of records OC or Larynx
• Data completeness
• Feedback on position within each trust
