CAPWAP MIB

• David Perkins is currently editor for the CAPWAP
  MIB
• As we have new binding draft, proposed 2 MIBs,
  one for the base protocol, one for the IEEE
  802.11 binding.
• WG agreement in and after IETF67
• Richard Young volunteered for 802.11 binding MIB
• Additional Volunteers? Please contact chairs.

• Primarily focused on issues-resolution based on

• Issues discussed

• Messaging 121, 152, 153 (239), 173, QoS-DTLS
  interaction
• Also targeted IEEE802.11 May Interim for expert
  review to submit for review early Apr.07 at the
  latest
• Resulted in protocol-05, bindings-03.

EPCglobal Status

• The EPCglobal Reader Operations WG has adopted
  the CAPWAP base protocol as the Discovery,
  Configuration and Initialization (DCI) protocol
  for RFID Readers
• Will be developing their own CAPWAP binding
