Role of the WDNR
  • WDNR retrieves samples daily and coordinates
    transport to laboratory
  • WDNR coordinated development of Phase I sampling
    procedures with the USEPA an environmental
    contractor
  • WDNR collects meteorological data at each
    location to be used for event reconstruction
    modeling

Phase 1 Sampling
  • A Phase I Sampling Plan contains detailed
    protocols for environmental sampling in the event
    of a positive detect
  • EPA has contracted Tetratech Inc. to perform
    Phase I sample collection
