System?
- The Retail Activity Database and Management
System (RAD) is a web enabled retail software
system developed by Advant Technologies Group
specifically with Comcast operations in mind - RAD is designed using best-of-breed technologies
Microsoft .NET, SQL Server database, Excel as the
front end, and Microsoft Extensions for Web
remoting . RAD is highly adaptive and can
interface with multiple systems and databases,
such as GetConnected, Digiterra, CSG, and ICOMS.

- Comcast Retail Sales Group of New England managed
by Steve Kochakian has been using RAD for over
1.5 years now. RAD has provided Steve and his
group with high ROI by - streamlining and automating various key retail
processes, functions and reports - enabling a single, timely, unified and actionable
view of all retail activities in the region - RAD pilot has also been installed in Southern CA
for the Non-Traditional Sales Group managed by
Jim Adams.

information. - The system maintains historical information by
conducting automatic code backups. This allows

- The Ranking and Coordination tool allows for two
rank types Store and Field Rank. The Store Rank
can be established by the Retail Channel Manager
via RAD standard Assignments interface. The Store
Rank allows to control short term planning
activities and resources such as number of trips
and store visits per month. - Unlike Store Ranking, the Field Ranking is a
product of actual sales performance. Given
division, the Ranking Utility evaluates Field
Ranks for each store using sales evaluation data
of the three prior months. Manager uses Field
Ranking to project future activities and make
sales predictions for the next three months. - The Ranking Utility generates two types of
reports Ranking Report and Coordination Map. The
Ranking Report contains Store and Field Ranks at
store level and other relevant sales performance
data. It also represents ranks at Sales
Representative level of assignments. - The Coordination Map is a storage of Rank data on
monthly basis. It presents an integrated Rank
information in convenient, comparative manner
