    cognition, such as Visual, Auditory, Kinaesthetic
    (VAK), Garners multiple intelligences and Brain
    Gym has become a focus for many educational
    settings in recent years. The drive to enhance
    the standards of teaching and learning makes
    application of these theories attractive. This
    module focuses on these and other theories of
    learning, exploring the evidence to support them
    and offering participants the opportunity to
    critically examine them. This module will be
    attractive to all practitioners who are
    interested in understanding the process of
    effective learning and who wish to explore the
    implications of learning theories for their
    practice and for the management of their
    educational settings.
