History
  • Established in 1992 by nearly thirty
    organisations with the aim of assisting the
    economic development of the region, by promoting
    the new and already existing enterprises.
  • The decisions-making body is the 12 member Board
    of the Foundation, while its operative
    organisation is the Business Supporting Centre
    which has been providing the day-to-day activity
    in the offices located in 3 towns of Komarom
    county from autumn 1993.

  • The region is the third most developed one in
    Hungary
  • The industry historically plays an important role
  • The development is fuelled by the IT and
    automotive sectors mainly characterised thorough
    foreign investors
  • Still exists a performance-gap between the export
    oriented TNCs and the regions SMEs
  • The rate of the Hungarian suppliers is at 20
    and is an important and hard task to move this
    figure forward

    Hungary

    certain technical jobs, while in some fields
