Remember!
  • Time 1 Hour for each paper
  • You must try to complete the paper
  • Check you have done at least half of the
    questions in half an hour
  • Have a guess rather than leave a blank
  • Leave your paper fully open (double page spread)
  • so you can see all the question all the time.

You will need a pen, pencil, rubber, ruler,
protractor and calculator. Dont forget you need
a good breakfast and set your alarm clock early!!

Remember!
  • The easier questions are at the beginning of the
    paper
  • Leave plenty of time to do the questions in which
    you have to think harder.
  • Read the question more than once and split the
    questions into sections
  • Think of when you did the topic, you will have
    been given the answer

Look carefully!
  • Check diagrams, tables and graphs before you read
    the question
  • Keep going back to the introduction of the
    question- the answer could be there!
  • Remember you dont always need to know any
    science to answer the question-use your common
    sense!
  • Dont be put off if something looks unfamiliar-
  • you could still work it out by reading the
    information in the question
