• Significance of the Project.
• With the number of on-line users and languages
  growing in the internet, a machine translation is
  needed in order to give convenience to web user a
  much easier way to break language barrier. By
  focusing in a large population of web user in
  Japan, this new service will contribute to help
  most non-English knowledge web user in Japan to
  browse English base web site without any
  difficulties.Thus, a truly good quality
  English-Japanese Machine Translation (EJMT) web
  processor combine with Example-based machine
  translation technique is created.
• Research Issue.
• Continue research base from previous research
  student Hung Phanvan on his work about
  English-Vietnamese Machine Translation Web
  Service.
• Introduced an overall approach to
  English-Japanese machine translation issue
  using example base machine translation technique
• Developed XML database system in order to gather
  appropriate Japanese translation for each
  translation unit in the input sentence and form
  the equivalent Japanese sentence
• Developed a server extension that will retrieve
  and parse HTML web pages in order to extract
  plain text portions for the translation purpose.
• Implemented feedback function in order for web
  user to give opinion and suggestion about server
  translation quality.
• Automate self database improving process
• Implemented more accurate Japanese grammar
  structure patterning
