Introduction

• This topic splash activity is designed to
  introduce you to properties of different
  triangles. You will be introduced to six
  different types of triangles, acute, right,
  obtuse, isosceles, scalene, and equilateral. You
  will search the internet the complete the
  worksheet and answer questions based on each one
  of the triangles. You will then work in groups
  and explore the properties further on an internet
  activity.

  properties and definitions of the different types
  of triangles, visit these websites.

  Classification of Angles. Classification of

• Explore the Triangle Classification website and
  create your own triangles. Explore the specific
  properties of each of the triangles.

Triangle Worksheet

• Part 1
• Complete the chart. To find the properties and
  definitions of these triangles, visit the given
  websites.
• Part 2
• After you have completed the chart, explore the
  Triangle Classification website, and create your
  own triangles. Create each one of the triangles
  mentioned in the chart. Using the information
  given on the website, show that each shape you
  made is in fact the shape you think it is. Be
  sure to show that you have the necessary
  characteristics of the shape and be able to
  explain your reasoning.
