Simple circuit
This is a diagram of a simple circuit. All you
need are the basics a bulb, a battery (cell) and
a couple of wires.

One switch
This is diagram of a series circuit. If the
switch is open the bulbs will not light up, but
if it is closed they will light up with the help
of the two batteries.

This is a diagram of a parallel circuit. The
current is split into two, and the bulbs are
not as bright as in a series circuit, although
they will be as bright as each other.
