- The Resources Subcommittee is recommending a two
step process - Step One
- Approval of a a memo providing input to the
revision of the Sweatfree Ordinance. - The proposed memo is presented for approval.
- Step Two
- A future memo providing a final recommendation by
COIT after action has been taken by the Sweatfree
Advisory Group.

- More communication and outreach by COIT to
department IT staff. - Improved communication between COIT and key City
stakeholders. - COIT to facilitate more interaction and
communication between IT managers.
18Communication Improvement Plan
- Add a dedicated Administrative staff position to
better facilitate the scheduling of meetings (see
below), distribution of meeting materials, and
maintaining the information posted on the COIT
website. - Improve the COIT website to enable City users to
sign up for areas of interest and have
information such as agendas, policies, minutes
automatically sent to users who wish to receive
the information. - COIT staff will take the responsibility to
facilitate an expanded calender of meetings which
will include - Monthly coordination meetings between COIT Chair
and Subcommittee Chairs. - Quarterly meetings of all members of the COIT
subcommittees. - Bi-Annual meetings to bring together IT managers
with Major Service Areas (MSA)? - Annual City Technology Conference to bring
together all IT staff citywide.
