3Colleville cemetery
On Tuesday we went to the Colleville cemetery, it
was quite spectacular. There was loads of graves
of the men that fought in the second world war.
It was very moving and sad to see them. After
walking around the grounds we went to the beach.

5Goats Cheese Farm
When we arrived, the woman who owned the cheese
farm, took us to the barn where all the goats
were. We were lucky enough to stroke the goats,
and take photos of them. There were baby goats
which were so cute. There was also a goat which
had a beard which was so funny. After that we
went into the woman's shop and we watched an
interesting film about goats cheese. The woman
showed us how the cheese was made, and we got to
taste the cheese. It wasnt very tasty but it was
good to try out. Finally we were able to buy
cheese, honey and soap. After that we went to a
360 degree cinema, which was very good and quite
scary at times.

Shopping in Arromanches
We walked down from the 360 degree cinema to the
shops in Arromanches. We split up into our groups
and looked around the shops. We were allowed to
buy things with our money, and get ice creams and
drinks. Some of the groups went on the
merry-go-round.
7The Maisy Battery
We went to the Maisy Battery where we explored
the trenches where the soldiers in second world
war. But Mr Armstrong took the wrong route and we
got very lost!
