Storytelling using well-known and published
stories We'll discuss why we use storytelling
and how we do storytelling in our language
classes. We will talk about selecting books,
useful storytelling techniques, and the way of
implementing this in our own language lessons
taking consideration of the learners' linguistic

about the importance of using stories that are
appropriate for the learners' age and their level
of English. We'll talk about how to modify
stories in terms of language and
contents. Section 1 Let's think! Discuss
the rationale of using stories that are suitable
for the learners' linguistic and cognitive
level. Discuss the ways of modifying
stories. Section 2 Let's watch! Story

Storytelling using cross-curricular
contents We'll discuss why we use
cross-curricular contents in our language
lessons. We will talk about how to select topics
from other subjects, ways of making up stories
using those topics taking consideration of the
learners' language skills, and ways of
implementing this in our own language

approaches - We'll discuss why we use kinesthetic approach in
our language lessons. We will talk about how to
select appropriate stories for applying
kinesthetic approach and will learn various ways
of body movements. We will also think about ways
of implementing this in our own language lessons. -

learners' cooperative group work - We'll discuss why we encourage learners to do
story retelling and how we do this in language
lessons. We will talk about how to select
appropriate stories and will learn various ways
of motivating learners' active participation and
increasing their creativity. We will also think
about ways of implementing this in our own
language lessons. -
