COBA Pass Alerts Via SMS (Text Messages)

• This tutorial will show you how to quickly and
  easily change the settings on your Knights Mail
  account so that you may receive COBA Pass
  reminders and alerts on your cell phone via text
  message.

Visit https//www.secure.net.ucf.edu/knightsmail
and click Sign in if you already have a
Knights Mail account setup. Otherwise, click,
Get it now to create a new account.

First, enter your Knights Mail address as your
ID. Next, enter your password. Finally, click
Sign In.

Click Options in the top right hand corner.

From the drop-down menu, choose More Options.

Choose the option that says Mobile alerts for
new messages.

Next, choose Messages I specify using mobile
alert filters and then click Save.

Click New mobile alert filter.

Make sure the first drop down box says From
address and the second says contains. In the
third box, type testinglabnoreply_at_bus.ucf.edu.
Finally, click Save.

Verify that you have entered testinglabnoreply_at_bus
.ucf.edu as the filter. If this is correct, click
Done.

Next, you must add the e-mail address to your
contacts so that notifications do not go to your
junk folder. First, click Go to inbox.

Next, click Contact list.

Next, click New at the top of the screen.

In the field marked Personal e-mail, type
testinglabnoreply_at_bus.ucf.edu

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click
Save.

Congratulations! You will now receive COBA Pass
reminders on your cell phone via SMS (text
messages).
