Junior Professional ProgramRequirements

• Be citizens of member countries of the Bank
• Not older than 31 years of age as January 1st of
  the selection year. When a candidate is
  selected from within the Institution, the maximum
  prescribed age is 35
• Be fluent in one of the Bank's working languages
  (English or Spanish), and have a working
  knowledge of a second official language of the
  Bank

Junior Professional Program

• Have a Master's or equivalent degree level from
  an accredited university by January 1st of the
  application year
• Have one or more years of professional experience
  in business related to the Bank and, be exempt
  from any military obligation for the duration of
  the Program.

SUMMER INTERN PROGRAMRequirements

• A citizen of one of the Bank's member countries.
• A student, working towards a Master's or
  Doctorate Degree in an accredited university.
• Proficient in at least one of the official
  languages of the Bank (English, Spanish,
  Portuguese, and French), preferably with a
  working knowledge of a second one.

SUMMER INTERN PROGRAM

• Not older than 30 years of age as of June 1, of
  the year he/she wants to participate.
• Candidates hired in the past by the IDB Summer
  Intern Program do not qualify

Summer Employee Program

• A citizen of one of the Bank's member countries.
• Enrolled in an undergraduate university program,
  and returning to his/her studies in the fall.
• Proficient in at least one of the official
  languages of the Bank (English, Spanish,
  Portuguese and French), preferably with a working
  knowledge of a second one.

Summer Employee Program

• Not older than 25 years of age as of June 1, of
  the year he/she wants to participate.
• Not older than 25 years of age as of June 1, of
  the year he/she wants to participate
• Candidates hired in the past by the IDB Summer
  Employee Program do not qualify

Unpaid Program

• A citizen of one of the Bank's member countries.
• Be over 21
• Full-time students in the third year of
  university or beyond, or be professional staff
  members of public or private institutions in a
  member country.
• Proficient in at least one of the official
  languages of the Bank (English, Spanish,
  Portuguese and French), preferably with a working
  knowledge of a second
