seekers in Australia - May 2007 2.48 Million Unique Visitors (Job
seekers) - The SEEK audience more than doubles that of the

of candidates with the largest selection of

more important than ever to not only attract, but
also to retain the best employees. - This presentation using results from the 2006
Survey of Employee Satisfaction and the 2007 AMR
/ SEEK study of Higher Education Professionals
looks at the key factors employees love hate
about their jobs and what makes them tick and how
SEEK can help.

- The aim of the SEEK Survey of Employee
Satisfaction and the AMR Higher Education Survey
was to determine - Happiness and job security within their current
role - Measure what motivates education professionals to
look for a job - Where they look for a job both past and present
behaviour - Awareness and advocacy of SEEK and other online
sites
5Methodology SEEK Employee Satisfaction
The largest online survey by SEEK resulted in
8729 responses
- Methodology
- Quantitative Online survey published on SEEK and
partner sites in August and - September 2006 results in 8729 responses.
- 70 of responses collected from the SEEK site,
the remaining collected from invitations sent to
jobseekers registered for Job Mail and partner
sites. - Invitations were sent to active jobseekers who
are frequently looking for a new job and passive
jobseekers, those who browse jobs every now and
then. - All respondents who completed the survey are
employed - 63 are in permanent full time employment and a
further 37 are casual, part-time or temporary
employed. - 350 respondents worked in the education and
training sector
6Methodology AMR Higher Ed Panel
- SEEK commissioned AMR Interactive to conduct
interviews with their independent panel of Higher
Education Professionals. - 99 interviews were conducted nationally.
- 61 were employed in educator roles such as
lecturers and tutors
