Final Exam Jan. 14 or Jan. 15
  • All English I students are required to
demonstrate mastery (level 3 or 4) on the NC
English I End of Course Test.
  • Because it is an exit standard, mastery is
required in order to receive a NC diploma.
  • The EOC is administered during final exams week
and counts as 25 of the semester average.
  • This assessment has two parts reading
    comprehension and grammar/editing.
  • Our assignments and assessments are created to
help students reach a level 3 or 4 on this test.
We will also review extensively as the exam
    approaches.

Questions or Concerns?
  • Please feel free to contact me if you have
questions or concerns regarding your child. As a
rule, email is the most efficient way to
    communicate.
  • All teachers will distribute progress reports
    next week.
  • To find out how your child is doing, take a look
at his/her notebook. Ask when he/she last
    received a progress report.
