• Weve incorporated many of them.

Some Suggestions Made

• Expand from 3 to 5 the number of job duties used
  for evaluations.
• Include the approximate percentage of time the
  employee spends on each job duty.
• Place optional comment boxes for each of the
  rated behavior traits.

Other Comments Made

• Even Web-based, the evaluation tool would have
  too much to complete. It would be hard on
  supervisors.
• I AM NOT.

My Proposal Change the Evaluation Process

• Each employee would complete the form
  (self-evaluate), and then return the form to the
  supervisor electronically.
• Supervisor would review the form and make changes
  as appropriate.
• Supervisor could then note what
  ratings/evaluations had changed during the
  evaluation meeting.

Last Steps Remain the Same

• The supervisor has the final decision, as is
  presently the case.
• The employee retains the right to grieve.
• Comments? Suggestions?
