Single content area example PowerPoint and
Mathematics

• Show a PowerPoint presentation on the History of
  Mathematics as an example of a report completed
  on PowerPoint.
• Ask guiding questions to get an understanding of
  students knowledge of PowerPoint.
• Have students log-in to computer
• Have students demonstrate the steps required to
  access PowerPoint
• On the projector lead students through accessing
  PowerPoint.
• Observe students teaching other students.
• Guide students through creating a micro document.

Interdisciplinary applications

• Lesson plan should ask guiding questions to
  understand the historical as well as the
  mathematical concepts involved with the History
  of Mathematics.
• Teacher needs a solid background in content.
• Teacher needs to be able to access URLs that
  have historical data.
• Teacher needs to be able to have a clear
  connection of the Global context of the
  Mathematical discoveries.
• Teacher needs to be able to successfully adopt
  the material into an organized PowerPoint
  presentation.
