2- Partners of EPRODE are Universities in Sweden,
Germany and Poland along with industrial
institutes and organizations in Spain and Sweden.
- Through this programme, students will develop
competencies that will guarantee initiative,
adaptability and mobility as well as ability to
learn, communicate and collaborate. - For the test courses given within the project,
co-operation with companies for student selection
will be an important task. The actual delivery of
test courses is important short time goal.

3- MAIN CHARACTERISTIC
- The course should check requirements for
Production Engineers and teaching methods
developed in the project EPRODE. - The students know already English language. The
course should improve their knowledge, especially
in the field of production engineering. - In the course there will be 10-12 students
working in Pratt Whitney Kalisz. They have
already BSc in engineering or have already basic
knowledge and are working on the production
engineering position.

- The main task of the course is to acquire by the
students self learning attitude to the
professional activity. There will be only limited
time of lectures. - The students should learn by themselves from
printed material or through internet. The
knowledge should be tested at the seminars. - Apart from the personal contacts teachers and
students will use e-mail links.

5- During the course there will be four subjects
from the third year of the BSc course equivalent
to 20 ECTS - 1) Modern cutting and grinding 6 ECTS,
- 2) CAD/CAM 4 ECTS,
- 3) Automatic control in manufacturing
- 6 ECTS,
- 4) Economy in industrial practice 4 ECTS.
- The average time needed from the student for 1
ECTS is equivalent to 20 hours of work.

7- TIMETABLE
- The course will be organized in 2005 with the
preliminary actions in the fourth quarter of
2004. - There will be three didactic meetings and two
organization meetings. - The didactic meeting will take five days in two
parts Thursday-Friday in the first week and
Thursday-Friday-Saturday in the second one. - Organization meetings will last several hours.

Discussion with the students about the course.
Modifications of the course, if needed. - First didactic meeting, January-February, 2005.
Short lectures. Seminars testing abilities and
attitudes of the students. Distributing
individual tasks. - Second didactic meeting, April-May, 2005.
Seminars with individual presentations of the
students. Distribution of projects and laboratory
tests, which should be made by students.
