EAPEI FY 2000 Review

• For each focus area
• initial review by Management Committee
  identifying concerns and questions for technical
  reviewers
• joint review by USAID/Indonesia and
  Embassy/Indonesia
• technical review by USAID G/ENV forestry team,
  water team and urban team as appropriate
• technical comments from the State Regional
  Environmental Hub based in Bangkok and
• separate presentations from the major domestic
  federal agencies (DOI, USDA/FS, NOAA and EPA) .

• Results-oriented
• Clear purpose
• Support by overseas country teams.
• Sound implementation plans.
• Commitment to (and record of) regular reporting.
• Field-generated emphasis.
• Linkages to existing FY98/99 EAPEI activities.
• Coordination with existing (and planned) USAID
  and other USG activity.
• Seed money linked with other donors
