  the places you should go. Robin Park has a track
  and indoor courts, also it has an Olympic size
  swimming pool and a cricket club.

• The Grand Arcade and the Galleries are the best
  places to shop. Even though the Grand Arcade is
  mainly for shopping, it still has cafes to eat
  in. Even though the Galleries are quite old, is
  still very popular.

• Wigan Pier, Mabs Cross and Haigh Hall are the
  best places to go and see, they are full of
  history and Haigh Halls grounds are beautiful.
  Mabs cross and Haigh hall are linked and there is
  a secret story behind them that you will have to
  listen to.

• Feeling a bit bored? The cinemas and the park
  are the best places.
• The cinemas are the places were you can have a
  laugh and cry. The parks are the best places to
  go for quiet walks and a relaxing time and they
  are good for family activities too.

• Wigan is famous for its pies, Heinz beans and
  Uncle Joes mint balls, which makes Wigan the
  most tastiest place. Heinz beans and Uncle Joes
  Mint Balls are made in Wigan and ONLY Wigan.

• Wigan has had a famous past.
• George Formby was a famous movie star, comedian
  and a comedy singer. He was born in Wigan and
  George Orwell, the famous writer visited Wigan
  and wrote a book called The Road To Wigan Pier.

• Even though Wigan is wonderful there is places
  to go near Wigan, such as Liverpool, Manchester
  and Southport. Wigan is located in between
  Manchester and Liverpool, these places are known
  to have the worlds best football players.
