TÜBITAK

• Since its establishment (1963), TÜBITAK has been
  providing support for scientific and
  technological research with the aim of assisting
  national development.
• It generates science and technology and
  disseminates information of benefit to the public
  while offering assistance to Turkish scientists
  in order to enhance Turkeys reputation in the
  fields of science and technology.
• It guides Turkeys Science and Technology
  Policies.

• BAYG (The Department of Scientific Human
  Resources Development ) is a branch of TÜBITAK
• Its mission involves providing many kinds of
  support, such as generating circumstances to
  improve and develop the capacities of scientists
  and researchers, rewarding outstanding success,
  monitoring the progress of successful students
  and providing assistance for their development
  and granting national and international
  scholarships.
• Organizing contests to discover and train future
  scientists (for primary and secondary school
  students)

BAYG, The Department of Scientific Human

agricultural and veterinary sciences and social

Programs for Primary and Secondary School Students

• BAYG organizes events and programs to orient
  young people towards science and to train them,
  starting from primary school level.
• National Primary Mathematics Olympiads
• a competition among primary school 6th ,7th
  and 8th grade students. The best students are
  awarded medals (gold, silver and bronze) by
  TÜBITAK .

b) National Science Olympiads a competition
among secondary schools students from all over
the country in the fields of mathematics,
physics, biology, chemistry and informatics.The
best students receive medals and support for

Undergraduate scholarships we have four types of
university undergraduate scholarships
undergraduate basic science scholarships
(students among the first 5000 in the General
University Entrance Examination), and for
