• Mainframe skill shortage mitigation IBMs
  Academic Initiative - zNextGen initiative
  community groups (e.g. SHARE) are highlighting
  the need.  
• Hot skills - vendor / partner / outsourcer /
  relationship management, finance management,
  strategy / internal consulting, business process
  analysis, portfolio management, program
  management, and enterprise architecture (see CIO
  magazine).
• There is not enough architecture education -
  business benefits are rarely achieved and then
  only at upper levels of maturity. Weve
  partnered to deliver an education program with
  Mercer college in NY architecture, business
  analysis, etc. this is corporate response to
  augment and retain core IT skills.
