• One learning objective is to understand what
  management is and decide if you are interested in
  managerial career.
• To facilitate this, have an assignment.
• Interview a manager.
• Done out of class and in team of 5-6.
• Get to practice managerial skills.

• Active learning. Extra points of read the text.
  Learning is more than memorization for an exam.
• Management is more than common sense.
• Many of you will be managers and this will be the
  only managerial course you have ever taken.
• Active learning will help you retain material.
