Benefits
Design guidance will be developed for miniature
0201 passives, recently introduced by industry.
Initially a BOK will be generated using industry
inputs as well as lessons learned from one design
is being used by the JPL-lead consortium in
2003. Test will be performed when fund become
available.
Passive technologies are widely used by all
NASA for all missions including Space Shuttle,
NGST, Mars missions, etc. Tiny 0201 passives
become the next choice. Understanding key design,
quality,and reliability are needed for low risk
insertion into NASA projects.
