  • Bait and Switch -
  • An item is advertised at unrealistically low
    price. (BAIT)
  • When consumer arrives at store, item is sold out.
  • Sales person then directs consumer to
    higher-priced items (SWITCH)
  • Bait and switch is ILLEGAL
